- Web Search Tools
- Are you overwhelmed and frustrated by that gigantic pile of "organized chaos" called the World Wide Web? Let us show you the digging tools that have been developed to make you much more confident in your ability to quickly and effectively find what you need. We'll show you how to better use search engines (Google, Altavista, All the Web, etc), specialty search engines, meta–search engines, and subject directories. Nothing gets the job done better than having the right tools!
- December 15
- Medical Searching For State Employees Only
- An in–depth look at the numerous sources of health sciences and psychological information available to state employees from home or office. Learn what MEDLINE, PsycINFO, EBSCO full–text databases, and the electronic journal center offer for mental health, nursing, and other medical professionals. Participants will learn terminology and special features of the databases.
- December 8
