Current Awareness Services

If you are a state employee, would you like to automatically receive email alerts on topics of your choice? Or have the table of contents of your favorite journals delivered to your work email account as soon as they are available? If so, put yourself at the cutting edge of research by signing up for our Current Awareness Service.

To sign up for these services all you need to do is fill out the following forms

Current Awareness Services – Journal TOC Alerts

Once set up, the alerts continue to run automatically. Results can be sent to you monthly, weekly, daily, or –– in the case of TOC notifications –– as available.

Additional Information

This service is provided through OhioLINK’s Electronic Journal Center and EbscoHost research database, which include hundreds of scholarly journals and select newspapers and is only available to state of Ohio employees from the office. If you are using a computer from your office, you should experience no problems when using this service once it has been set up. Access is determined by IP (internet protocol) address. However should you experience access problems please contact the Reference Department at the State Library of Ohio.
