State Library of Ohio Board approves $270,000 for NetWellness
The State Library of Ohio Board recently approved $270,000 in financial support to the online health information resource Netwellness. The funding is for one year to assist Netwellness with its operating costs and to further develop its sustainability plan.
According to State Librarian Jo Budler, "the resources available through Netwellness provide Ohio residents with authentic medical information. The State Library of Ohio sees Netwellness as a valuable asset to the core group of databases available to Ohio's library patrons through Libraries Connect Ohio."
NetWellness is a non-profit consumer health web site that has been in operation for over ten years. It provides high quality information created and evaluated by medical and health professional faculty at the University of Cincinnati, Case Western Reserve University, and The Ohio State University. www.netwellness.com

State Library of Ohio patrons now have access to Ohio Libraries Share: MORE resources.
The State Library of Ohio is pleased to announce Ohio Libraries Share: MORE, a statewide resource sharing system connecting many public and K-12 school libraries is now available to its patrons. Ohio Libraries Share: MORE provides patrons with access to additional library resources, which may not be available through the State Library or OhioLINK. Resources available through Ohio Libraries Share: MORE may be used for research or leisure, and includes bestsellers, CDs, DVDs and VHS tapes.
Access Ohio Libraries Share: MORE through the State Library’s Library Catalog and then click on the Ohio Libraries Share More link.
