State Library of Ohio continues support for KnowItNow program.
During a recent State Library Board retreat, the Board made a commitment to fund KnowItNow for the next two years using LSTA funds. The KnowItNow service suite (KnowItNow, HomeworkNow, and ReadThisNow) will continue. The Live Homework Help service from tutor.com will be discontinued once the current contract runs out. HomeworkNow will still be staffed by librarians. They will not be able to transfer students to the online tutors at tutor.com. However, less than 15% of all HomeworkNow calls have ever been transferred to a tutor.
