Spotlight On WebJunction Ohio Coursesby Jay Burton, Professional Development Coordinator
State Library of Ohio Summer reading is just around the corner. That makes us think about youth services librarians and WebJunction Ohio has a series of courses designed for the veteran or new children’s librarian in mind. Access is simple. Visit the WJOH website at oh.webjunction.org and log in using your WJOH account. Select the “Course Catalog” tab, then take a peek at what’s under the Library Services: Children link. Not to leave out those brave souls who work with teens, there are two courses you can choose from.
• Creating Collaborative Lessons for the Secondary School (LE@D)
• Reaching Teenagers (LE@D)
