Four Cities in Ohio Share a Common Goal!

Way Public Library will be celebrating El Día de los Niños/El Día de los Libros by presenting a story time for ages 3-6. This will be a bilingual program.  Simple books will be read to help teach Spanish words for colors, numbers and animals. The children will play a Latin American game called “A la vibora de la Mar/ The Sea Serpent” which is similar to “London Bridge”.  A shortened version of Pat Mora’s “Song for April 30^th” will be sung.  Two crafts will be included. The children will decorate a balero and make simple piñatas.  Bilingual books will be on display for check out.
