Purpose
stategovdocs is a mailing list for state depository libraries of Ohio. Typical examples of content and discussion for the stategovdocs list include:- Announcements
- Sharing promotional ideas
Who can subscribe
All state depository libraries that receive a monthly shipment of Ohio general publications and⁄or a weekly shipment of Ohio legislative publications must have at least one person who is responsible for state documents subscribe to this mailing list.Subscribing
To subscribe to stategovdocs, send an (empty) message to
- stategovdocs–subscribe@winslo.state.oh.us.
- For the subject field enter the following
Subject: stategovdocs request - Please format this message in plain text. NOTE: If you do not know how to format a message in plain text, please check with your local suppport person or, you can read the following document, Mailing List Formating Guidelines, which includes instructions for the most common email clients.
A confirmation request message will be sent back to you. To confirm your subscription, just reply to the "Reply–To:" address. Usually, the "reply" function of your mail program will do this.
Once the list–owner receives your confirmation, your address will be added to the subscriber database and you will receive a message to tell you that you are a subscriber.
Unsubscribing
To unsubscribe from stategovdocs just send a message to stategovdocs–unsubscribe@winslo.state.oh.us, then reply to the confirmation request.
You will receive a confirmation message to let you know that you are no longer a subscriber.
Submitting Content
Any current member of the list may submit content by sending the email to stategovdocs@winslo.state.oh.us
