Welcome to the Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC) test demo of the Evergreen Open Source ILS installed at the SEO Library Center.
Please feel free to use our demo database to experience the feel and look of the Evergreen Open Source software.
You can search our OPAC as if you were a library patron and even install the Evergreen client software to work directly in the database as if you were a library using the Evergreen software.
A guest user logon with local system administrator credentials is available under the link "Try the Evergreen Demo".
This system contains the current stable version of Evergreen, release 1.4.0.4. On occasion the system may be unavailable for upgrades, training or unplanned outages.
Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) FY 2008 funds were approved for the Holmes County District Public Library to perform a Evergreen - Horizon - Walkthrough. Eric Maynard, the head of Information Technology at Holmes county public library, provided the following services to the State Library: Gap Analysis of SEO's RFP against the Evergreen software, analysis of Evergreen features not currently in the SEO RFP or Horizon release 7.4.2 currently in use and recommendations concerning the Evergreen software.
