Kirstin Krumsee joins the staff of the State Library of Ohio as Reference Librarian

The State Library of Ohio is pleased to announce that Kirstin Krumsee has joined its staff as Reference Services Librarian. 

Kirstin’s responsibilities will include reference and research services activities.  She will work at the reference desk, answering reference questions including questions received through KnowItNow24x7. Kirstin will assist state government employees in learning to use library resources and participate in activities associated with outreach and services to state government.

Kirstin has a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science from Kent State University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Ohio State University. After spending several years working in bookstores, in 2008 she made the transition to libraries. 

Kirstin has worked in public and special libraries including the Upper Arlington Public Library, the Ohioana Library and most recently as Information Services Librarian for the Edison Welding Institute.
