WebJunction Ohio

Marsha McDevitt-Stredney, Director of Marketing & Communications
State Library of Ohio

The best way to share our excitement about WebJunction Ohio is to start exploring the site. Once you link to WebJunction Ohio you will find a great deal of help and support including a Getting Started guide.

If you were already a WebJunction member then you probably already know that your account was automatically migrated to WebJunction Ohio. If not, getting an account is easy and setting up a profile is fun too. Just as with other social networking style web services, you decide how much or how little to include in your profile, and whether to invite and accept friends. To have full access to some of the resources available at WebJunction Ohio you will need to be affiliated with Ohio. Affiliation requires approval and may take a few days. If your account was migrated to WebJunction Ohio then you should already be affiliated.

Over the past few months I've been transferring content from the State Library web site. Ohio specific content is located within the various sections of the site which also includes a large amount of resources from WebJunction Central. The process continues and there may be changes in the look and feel of pages as more and more content is migrated, groups are formed, discussions take place, and on and on... Improving the ease of navigation is one of my top priorities.

Let me know what you think. You can send me an email, or start a discussion on WebJunction Ohio. So, let's get started...
