The State Library Meeting Rooms have been used over a thousand times in the past fiscal year (July 2007 to June 2008). State of Ohio agencies may use these rooms free of charge for work–related purposes. The rooms are available during regular Library business hours, Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Library is closed for State Holidays.
There are two small meeting rooms (capacity 16 or less), a medium sized room (capacity 30), a large boardroom (capacity 17 – 120) and training room (capacity 24) available for use.
Available amenities are free parking, public terminals, free public Wi-Fi access, rest rooms, a vending machine area and lunchroom.
Agencies are responsible for making their own catering or food arrangements.
To reserve a room call 614–644–7061 or 1–800–686–1532. The room will be held tentatively for 48 hours until a completed and signed Room Request form has been received by the State Library.
Reservations for regularly scheduled meetings will be accepted up to three months in advance. One–time programs may be scheduled up to one year in advance. The State Library reserves the right to limit the frequency of use of its meeting rooms, to cancel reservations and to review any or all applications before granting approval. Reservations are made on a first come, first served basis.
