There are 110 libraries participating in OHIO LIBRARIES SHARE MORE (click here for a complete list). Combined, these libraries contain Ohio Libraries Share MORE than 19 million volumes, and represent Ohio Libraries Share MORE than 3.3 million Ohio students and library patrons! The newest libraries to join OLS MORE include: Delta Public, Wornstaff Public, East Palestine Public, and Greenville Public.
The most notable achievement is that Ohio Libraries Share MORE works across a variety different library automation systems. We have successfully tested Ohio Libraries Share MORE with ten systems in Ohio, and are planning tests with all the remaining automation systems.
Libraries with Sirsi Dynix Unicorn, Dynix, Follett, Sirsi Dynix Horizon, Innovative Interfaces, Polaris, Spectrum, Spydus, and TLC may now start signing up for Ohio Libraries Share MORE. Check the schedule for the next implementation meeting in your area.
Ohio Libraries Share: MORE changed its name in January along with implementing some time saving upgrades for staff and additional tools for patrons. On this same path of continual improvement, we conducted a survey of library staff who use OLS More to see how we were doing after these changes were made. We want to thank all the staff who participated and share the results of the survey. As next steps, the OLS More User Group will take a look at the data presented in the survey and make some suggestions for improvement.
